University Sponsored Student Organizations (USSO) operate under the University's tax identification number, are official entities of the University of Missouri, and function under the supervision of employees whose duties are to oversee the success of the organization as outlined in their job description. However, students are still the primary driver of the organization and a high level of student control is given to these groups.

These include access to scholarships specifically tailored for ALD members at both the local and national level.
