UMSL Libraries Fall Kickoff

To celebrate the beginning of the Fall 2026 semester, UMSL Libraries is hosting a fun, free, drop-in kickoff event!

On the first Thursday of classes, stop by the library for a variety of library-related fun—games, crafts, a button-making station, snacks, and drinks. We'll also have some information tables where you can sign up for library events later in the semester, chat with our friendly librarians, pick up some library swag, and sign up for a card with the St. Louis County Library!

ACTIVITIES:
- Drop-in trivia! One round of 10 questions every hour starting at 10:15. Each round will be a different theme. We will have a selection of small prizes for the winners!

11:15 - Popular Literature & Best-sellers
12:15 - St. Louis & Missouri
1:15 - Movies
- Button making! Make a button using fun designs provided by the library.
- Other games and activities — Bananagrams! Puzzles! Dominoes!
- Meet the librarian who works with your major/department
- Sign up for library events and workshops later in the semester
- Sign up for a card with the St. Louis County Library — all students are eligible
- Tour the library to find all the good study spots. Tour begin at 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, and 1:30
- And, just hang out!
