Hung-Gay Fung, Dr. Y.S. Tsiang Professor of Chinese Studies at the University of Missouri-St. Louis and President of the Midwest Chinese American Science and Technology Association (MCASTA; 美中西區華人學術聯誼會) invites you to join us in celebrating 41 years of scientific meetings and social gatherings at our upcoming conference on Saturday, September 14, 2024.

This year’s event will take place in the Student Government Chamber at the Millennium Student Center on the UMSL campus. The conference will focus on the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on our daily lives.

We are pleased to feature an impressive lineup of speakers:

Mr. Robert Grupe, Application Security Practices Lead Manager at Cigna-Evernorth, will deliver a keynote on “Personal & Business Security in a World with AI.”

Mr. Feng Hou, Chief Information Officer at St. Louis Community College, will discuss “How AI and Blockchain Can Shape the Future of Education.”

Chris Ho, Owner of Drug Design Methodologies and Board Member of MCASTA, will present “AI and Medicine: Transformative Innovations and Hidden Risks.”

Ms. Jessica Murray, Marketing and Communications Manager at Venturelab, will explore “Harnessing AI for Marketing and Personal Growth.”

Mr. Li Zhang, IT Principal at Cigna, will address “Embracing the Future: Key Trends Shaping Modern Software Development” during the lunch session.
