We'll meet at the UMSL Community Garden to clean up Engelhohm Creek. Please check social media or this Triton Connect page if you're worried about the weather or if you need service hours or credit. Stop by to help out that morning, check in at the CHERP trailer to get your gloves & gear and go get that trash!!
The official "Trash Bash" is on Saturday (which is why we're hosting the on-campus version earlier). More information: https://volunteer.openspacestl.org/event/detail/?event_id=89469 Please use that Open Space Council volunteer portal to RSVP if you want to help out on Saturday. If you decide to participate on Saturday, you'll want to use that volunteer portal to choose your site location across the Lower Missouri River watershed.
The on-site coordinator will provide you with gloves and trash bags and a FREE t-shirt and tell you what to do to work together to keep our streams and communities free from trash and litter.
For more information on how our collective efforts can make a difference, check out the complete Confluence Trash Bash 2022 Report or visit their website here. The Open Space Council coordinates this event with help from partners at Great Rivers Greenway, MSD Project Clear, the Missouri Stream Teams, Earthways Center, St. Louis County Parks, and many other community groups across the region.
