Join the Office of Student Involvement - Community and Belonging as we journey to the cultural hotspots our city. Enjoy live dance and music at the Japanese Festival at the Botanical Gardens, ice-skate in the Central West End, climb the Gateway Arch, and more! Bring your Metro Pass or buy a one-day Adventure Pass the day-of and get ready for a memorable ride with this new UMSL tradition.
Depending on the trip, Quest St. Louis attendees get access to exclusive discounted rates to STL hotspots, like our upcoming trip to the Japanese Festival, while supplies last! See each individual event for details.
Quest St. Louis field trips are affordable, guided group excursions which use St. Louis Metro transit trains and busses to enjoy the city on a budget. Directions and travel itineraries are available printed during each trip and our Quest Leaders will take you through each step of the travel process.

Exploring and enjoying the culture of St. Louis has never been safer, easier, or more affordable! Quest St. Louis field trips are low-cost guided group excursions which use St. Louis Metro transit trains and busses to enjoy the city on a budget. Directions and travel itineraries are available printed during each trip and our Quest Leaders will take you through each step of the travel process.
COST: There is NO COST to attend the Hispanic Festival! It's free!
ALL RIDERS will need either a MetroPass (available for $25 at Student Financial Services in MSC 3rd Floor) or a One-Day Adventure Pass (purchaseable for $5 on-location or on the Transit app). Food, drinks, and gifts will be available on the festival grounds for an optional additional cost (tip: expect to pay ~$20 per person per lunch).
We ask riders arrive at the UMSL South Metro Stop at 9:30am for an estimated 10:00am departure. We expect to arrive at the festival at 11:30am and plan to depart at 4:00pm to return to UMSL by 5:00pm.

COST: Our LIMITED QUANTITY discounted tickets to the Japanese Festival are only $8 (originally $18 for the general public) and will go on sale on Saturday, August 23rd, at the Welcome Bash. Additional remaining tickets may be purchased in the Office of Student Involvement (MSC 366). Tickets are limited to one-per enrolled UMSL student.
You do NOT need a discounted $8 ticket to attend our group field trip. However, students without discounted tickets will be expect to purchase their own tickets for the general admission price of $18 to enter the Botanical Gardens.
