Details

The Clothesline Project is a National organization bringing awareness through a visual exhibit, a clothesline is hung with t-shirts. Each shirt is decorated by St Louis area survivors and/or their representative sharing a particular person(s) experience with gender-based violence. The purpose of this project is to (1.) Bear witness to survivors as well as the victim of the war against gender-based violence, (2.) Help with the healing process for people who have lost a loved one and/or who are survivors of gender-based violence, (3.) Educate, document, and raise community awareness of the extent of the problem of gender-based violence, (4.) Provide a nationwide support network encouraging prevention, education, and information about gender-based violence.
