The purpose of this organization shall be to encourage superior academic achievement among students in their first year at UMSL, to promote intelligent living and a continued high standard of learning, and to assist students in recognizing and developing meaningful goals for their unique roles in society.

Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society offers its members a range of exclusive benefits designed to foster both personal and professional growth. These include access to scholarships specifically tailored for ALD members at both the local and national level. The ALD Perks Program is another significant benefit, providing members with exclusive access to a wide array of perks and discounts across the country. The ALD Leads initiative, a complimentary online program, is available to help students enhance their leadership and professional skills. Additionally, ALD hosts weekly Career Conversations, providing a platform for discussions about the transition from the first academic year to a professional career, featuring successful ALD alumni in relevant fields of study. ALD also collaborates with several educational partners to assist members in broadening their knowledge base and supporting their professional development. Mission
The Student Programming Allocation Council (SPAC) is intended to provide support for Recognized Student Organizations (RSO) at UMSL for opportunities to which they might not otherwise have access. SABC's purpose is to provide partial financial support to RSOs so they can host events, participate in professional and team development activities, and assist with common operating expenses associated with student organizations. While SABC provides this assistance to RSOs with their activities and expenses, student organizations are encouraged to seek other sources of support in order to be financially self-sufficient. RSOs should never rely solely on SABC funding to cover 100% of their expenses. The purpose of SABC funding is to support and encourage RSOs as they contribute to the student experience at UMSL.

Triton XP is a university-wide campus engagement incentive program designed to reward UMSL students for active participation in campus life. By attending athletic events, co-curricular programs, academic experiences, and community-building activities, students earn experience points that unlock automatic prize tiers and entry into high-impact semester and annual raffles — including tuition scholarships and travel awards.
Participation is tracked seamlessly through Triton Connect, UMSL's central engagement platform, creating an integrated ecosystem that connects every division of the university around a shared commitment to student success, retention, and belonging.

Triton XP uses a two-track incentive model: automatic milestone rewards that every student can earn, and high-impact semester/annual awards available through a combination of engagement totals and a random drawing among top-tier participants to ensure equitable access.

Students automatically receive the following rewards upon reaching each threshold. No application or nomination required.

These awards are available to students who reach Level 3 (50+ events) and are awarded through a random drawing among all eligible Level 1+ (regardless of top status) participants, ensuring that awards are both merit-based and equitable.
