New Student Convocation & Class Photo

On behalf of the Office of Academic Affairs and the Office of Enrollment Management, you are cordially invited to participate in a new UMSL tradition: New Student Convocation to be held Friday, August 18, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at the Touhill Performing Arts Center.

Please join us to formally welcome our new class of students and their family members to campus at this memorable event as Chancellor Sobolik and Provost Berberich kick off the new academic year. During this ceremonial event, new students will be presented with a lapel pin and recite the Triton Creed to commemorate their induction into the University of Missouri–St. Louis community.

Following the ceremony, there will be a class photo taken and a Welcome Bash event hosted by the Office of Student Involvement in the Millennium Student Center.
